One of the best homemade pizzas is a Cici’s Alfredo Pizza Recipe topped with chicken, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses with a creamy homemade alfredo sauce. This is an absolute must for Friday night pizza!
Time for another delicious homemade pizza recipe! If you haven’t tried making homemade pizza dough, you certainly should! It is SO simple and will help you save money and calories! I also have an incredible recipe for wheat pizza dough.
Friday is pizza night at our house, and I don’t intend to sound like a broken record when I repeat that handmade pizza “tastes better from scratch”! It is also less expensive and a terrific pastime for families. This straightforward chicken alfredo pizza is among my faves.
How to make Cici’s Alfredo Pizza:
1. Make the sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add cream cheese and mix until smooth. Gradually add the milk, stirring until smooth. Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
2. Prepare Toppings and Pizza crust: Roll/stretch the pizza dough into a large circle. I like to pre-bake my crust for 5 minutes at 425 degrees F. (Don’t pre-bake if it’s a thin-crust pizza.) Gather cooked chicken, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
3. Assemble a Spoon of Alfredo sauce over the crust. Add a thin layer of mozzarella, then chopped chicken, more mozzarella, and then a sprinkle of extra parmesan cheese.
4. Bake at 425 degrees F for 8-12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Make Ahead And Freezing Instructions:
To make ahead: Make the pizza dough several hours ahead of time and allow it to rise in the refrigerator. You can also prep the alfredo sauce ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
To freeze: Freeze baked or unbaked pizza dough. Allow thawing on the counter and top with sauce and toppings.
